Supply Chain Scheduling Specialist Dow Terneuzen
The primary purpose of this role is to balance the right supply & demand, and make sure Dow has the right products, at the right time in the different warehouse hubs across EMEA. In addition, the Supply Chain Replenishment Planner is responsible for maintaining and improving a healthy cross collaboration dynamics between the different functions, continuous searching for improvement opportunities to optimize cost and quality in the supply chain and drive a very customer central culture in line with the business strategy.
Your primary responsibilities in this role are to:
- Manage Supply/Demand/ Inventories for the warehouse hubs in EMEA
- Manage and maintain a healthy inventory in the warehouse hubs
- Contribute actively in the S&OP processes within the area
- Tune capacity requirements with Logistics and Outplant management
- Advice BSCP & Demand planner on the monthly allocation and sourcing process for your hubs
- Lead resolution of large unplanned events
- Align business strategy and supply chain operations to your respective hubs
- Actively drive aged inventory down in the warehouses
- Act as primary interface between business and leveraged functions for the hubs
- Execute business supply chain strategy on quality, service, inventory, costs,
- Proactive and transparent status updates to lead planner and function
- Represent supply chain on business projects
- Identify and drive supply chain improvements
- Help drive cross-functional initiatives
- Work closely with Customer service and sales to meet customer needs
- Optimize supply chain design decisions
- Lead resolution of serious service/quality interruptions
